"Kyven was an amazing tour guide who adapted our tour to better fit events happening around DC! He shared great information in a fun way and seeing the monuments at night was beautiful. Going at night in the summer was great as we got to see the sunset along with the night lights. Kyven also went above and beyond, offering ice cold water and then offering continued support for the duration of our stay here in DC. We could not be happier with our experience!"

"A small group tour is definitely the way to go and it is even better with a DC native guide. The group has a maximum of 12 tourists which is wonderful when you see the herds of 30 or more folks who pack into the large groups. With a smaller group, the experience felt quite personal and the guide, Kyven, is a DC native and can give some subtle insights into the history and culture. Kyven sometimes has a dry and cutting humor which I found spontaneous and refreshing. Our tour was in mid summer so night falls late but the timing was excellent so that we got to Lincoln memorial and MLK memorial in deepening darkness which makes the statues all the more impressive. Other seasons, the entire tour will be at night which would be great. Although 10 monuments and memorials are a lot to fit into 3 hours, the pacing did not feel rushed. Kyven gave us the history and insight into each stop in advance and then let us out to wander independently. A great idea as we all got to see pretty much what we wanted without having to stick to a group. Kyven was liberal with the bottled water which was a blessing for a tour in DC in July. He had umbrellas in the back which we did not need even though there were passing showers. Reassuring to know they were there. Overall the tour took a little more than three hours and all of it was time and money well spent."

"Due to Covid-19 the 8th Grade trip was cancelled in 2020 for my son like many other kids. I booked the small group day tour for this trip so my son and I could see as many of the major sites in DC as possible and to learn about them. It was money very well spent. Kyven our driver and Tour guide has a vast knowledge of not only the historical sites but, DC in general. We both learned a lot and had an enjoyable tour. Fantastic from beginning to end!! Kyven had so many interesting details to share along the way about all the various monuments we were seeing that it was amazing. He took such care in seeing that we were safe, supplied bottles of water (that was such a blessing) & was genuinely excited about showing us the history that was unfolding before us through these sites. "This was our favorite time in DC! Kyvan, our guide was outstanding! He's a teacher by day and a DC native, so he knows his was around a good story and the city. In order for us to make it through one set of monuments the way we’d like, he completely was willing to come around and get us and spotted us right away! There was more than enough time each time we stopped to enjoy and take the pictures we wanted. We did this tour our 2nd day there and I wish we had done it the first day since Kyvan gave us so many tips on special trips to take, things that are hidden gems, and food recommendations.But for the price of your own tour to 10+ destinations, getting dropped off and picked back up without extra walking or figuring out what was next and how to get there, this tour is a steal! Even my 17 year old son was happy! This was my 4th trip to DC and I plan to do the same tour next time. It was worth every penny and special moment!! Thank you so much!!"
