    Tour Booking Insurance costs $5 per ticket and allows cancellation up to 1 hour before tour departure for a full refund.

When making your reservation, select the option for $0 deposit. This means you won't be required to pay any deposit at the time of booking. During the reservation process, you'll need to provide an authorized credit card. This is solely for validation purposes and to ensure the reservation is held. A one-time authorization of one dollar will be processed to validate your credit card details. Once you've completed the booking, you will receive a confirmation email. This confirms that your reservation is confirmed and secured. Payment for the tour will be automatically charged to your authorized credit card the day before your scheduled tour. This means you don't have to worry about making the payment manually. If your plans happen to change, no worries!   • What time do the Small Group Tours start?
    Day Tours Start at 9:00 AM and end at 1:00 PM. Night Tours March 1st - October 31st - Start at: 7:00 PM and end at 10:00 PM. November 1st - February 28th Start at 6:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM. Please arrive 10 Minutes before the tour.
  • Where do Small Group Tours begin?
    The meeting point for Small Group Tours is directly in front of the Starbucks at the Washington Grand Hyatt, 1000 H St NW. We kindly ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to check in with your guide.
  • Will I need to print my ticket?
    As part of our dedication to environmental sustainability, there's no need to print your ticket. Instead, simply provide your name during the check-in process.
  • Is there parking near the Grand Hyatt?

  • If I take the Metro what station would I get off at?
    The Metro Center station is the nearest one to Washington Grand Hyatt (in the red circle). Look for the 11th Street Exits
  • What do I do if I am running late for my tour?
    We strongly advise arriving at least 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time for a seamless experience. In the event that you are running late, we recommend contacting your guide to inquire about the appropriate stop where you can join the tour. Please be aware that no refunds or rescheduling will be available within 24 hours of your scheduled tour.
  • How many stops do you make on the tour? What are the stops?
    We stop at 10 Major Attractions on both the Day and Night Tours. - United States Capitol Building - Ford's Theatre - Jefferson Memorial - Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Lincoln Memorial - Martin Luther King, Jr - Reflecting Pool - World War II Veterans Memorial - Korean War Veterans Memorial - Lafayette Square - White House. We do not tour on major event days because of almost total road closures (4th of July, Marine Corp. Marathon, etc). Tour routes can change due to major road closures, traffic, and weather. Our expert guides and drivers can navigate around a lot of these occurrences so your tour is guaranteed to provide the experience you are here for.
  • Do we get out of the van?
    Yes, Small-Group Tours get out of the van at the following stops: US Capitol, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, White House, Korean War Memorial, and Reflecting Pool. You will see the Washington Monument throughout the whole tour. You have the option of remaining inside the vehicle for any or all of the stops on the tour.
  • Is This a Walking Tour?
    Our tours are a combination of walking and transportation. We transport you to each site in a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle. At each stop, you'll have the opportunity to explore the landmarks on foot. This blend of walking and driving ensures you experience the best of Washington, D.C., while minimizing fatigue and maximizing comfort.
  • How much time do you spend at each of the tour stops?
    We spend 15 – 25 minutes at each stop that we make on the tour.
  • Will we have any restroom breaks during the tour?
    Yes, there are restrooms are located at the following stops: Jefferson Memorial, WWII Veterans Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial.
  • What type of vehicle will we be touring in?
    We tour in 15 passenger tall roof transit vans.
  • How many people are on a small group tour?
    We tour with no more than 12 guests on each tour.
  • Do I have to purchase a ticket for my baby?
    If the baby sits on your lap - No, you don't have to purchase a ticket. If the baby is going to use a car seat - Yes, you will need to purchase a ticket.

  • Are we allowed to bring drinks or snacks on the van?
    We provide complimentary water for our guests during the tour. You may also bring your own beverages and snacks if needed.
  • Does the tour end at the same place it starts?
    Yes, tours end at the same place that they begin. Washington Grand Hyatt 1000 H St NW.
  • Can we bring a stroller?
    Yes, please make sure to give us advance notice if you plan on bringing a stroller.
  • Are the vans handicap accessible?
    No, we currently do not have any handicap-accessible vans.
  • Can we bring a foldable wheelchair?
    Yes, you can bring a foldable wheelchair. We only ask that you notify us in advance so we can make accommodations.
  • Do we stop for lunch?
    We do not stop for lunch during the tours. Our tours are optimized to get as much done in a short period of time. The National Mall will have food/snack trucks along the route.
  • Can we be dropped off at a museum or restaurant after the tour?
    Most likely if it is 1 mile east of the White House. Please make the request before the tour.
  • How do I cancel my tour if I booked with a 3rd party app (Viator or TripAdvisor)?
    If you booked with a 3rd party app (Viator or TripAdvisor) you will have to notify the 3rd party app that you would like to cancel - Not See DC Today. We can not change the status of a booked tour. You can cancel your booking for a full refund up to 1 day before your activity. However, please check the “Terms and Conditions” section of your ticket for the detailed cancellation policy for your specific activity. To cancel your booking: Go to your Bookings page Find the booking you need to adjust. On the right side, you will see links where you can view/print your ticket, change date or cancel your booking. Click the 'Cancel Booking' link. You will see the price paid along with the refund amount due prior to finalizing the cancellation. Once you are ready to cancel, click 'Cancel Booking.' You will receive a confirmation email when your cancellation request has been completed. NOTE: The 'Cancel Booking' option will not be available if your tour/activity is designated as 'Non-Refundable' as these reservations cannot be canceled or changed.

    Private Tours offer flexibility in start times. Morning tours usually begin at 9 am, afternoon outings usually kick off at 2:00 pm, and evening adventures typically get underway at 7 pm.
  • What happens if it rains?
    Our tours run rain or shine, but we will do our best to modify the itinerary to keep you comfortable. We recommend bringing an umbrella or raincoat if the weather forecast predicts rain.
