The central feature of the memorial is the Rainbow Pool, flanked by two magnificent pavilions representing the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of war. The memorial also features 56 granite pillars, each representing a US state, territory, or district during the war.

Walk along the Freedom Wall, which showcases 4,048 gold stars, each representing 100 American military personnel who died during the war. It's a poignant reminder of the scale of the sacrifice and the impact on communities across the nation.
